Let the little children come…

Psalm 122 proclaims, “I was glad when they said to me, ‘let us go into the house of the Lord.'”  The children at our church share so much joy and truly love coming to “the house of the Lord”.  It is wonderful that the number of children is growing!  It is our responsibility to love, teach, and help our children grow.  It is you, the people of the church, that makes Hood Memorial such a special place for the children to be.

One way to live out our new mission to offer love to all is to begin with our children.  Prayerfully consider sharing a Sunday morning with our children.  Your responsibilities will be assisting Jesse Lashmit in the nursery during worship time, helping the older children with their already prepared curriculum and bringing them back into worship during the designated time. It is so important for our children to hear the great stories from the Bible by listening, watching, creating, and practicing!  We are excited for our children to learn from you, hear your stories, and learn by example how God has worked in your life.

We ask that you consider helping at least once a quarter. On our website you will find a link to sign up for the Sunday that fits you best: hoodmemorial.org/volunteer. See a list of Sundays through June and please fill in your name and information for the dates you are able to assist.  Thank you for sharing the responsibility of caring for our children!!
