World Communion: Jesus is Savior for All
Pastor Joanie He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; for in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers—all things have been created through him and for him. He himself is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him God was pleased to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, by making peace through the blood of his cross. –Colossians 1:15-20
Reflect: Consider your relationship with Christ in the context of Christ’s larger purpose to reconcile all things. What does it mean to be a follower of Christ who is working to reconcile all things?
Reflect & Practice: How is Jesus call to Communion representative of God’s call to bring together all things? Who or what in our world is divided, separated, or fragmented? What can you do this week to bring somethings (maybe some persons) together?
Practice: Practice world communion this week. Every time you eat a meal, pray and reflect upon God’s work to bring all things together through Jesus Christ.

We would love your help making sure we get the word out. Please send postcards to former church members, family members, friends, and others who we want to welcome back for this special time of worship together.

**Trunk or Treat will be Sunday, October 27th beginning at 4:00 pm in the church parking lot. We invite you to come and open your trunk and offer goodies to the children in our community (please no peanuts).

**November 10th, Veterans Day Concert 4:00 pm
**We are looking for folks to help us with Sanctuary Flowers each week. It is a great way to honor or remember someone special in your life. Flowers can be a homemade arrangement, artificial or real, or provided from a local florist. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board outside of the children’s classroom.
