March Opportunities
There are several opportunities to serve and volunteer in the coming weeks. Please consider your participation and how you might be able to help.
1. Ladles of Love Meal Delivery: Thursdays at 10:00 am
2. DUMA Food Pantry, March 23rd from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. This is Hood Memorial’s week to serve and we need 10-12 volunteers. Please let Jason or Joanie know if you have an hour or more that you can share with us.
3. Easter Lilies–Purchase an Easter Lily to send to one of our homebound members or to use in our worship space on Easter Sunday in honor or memory of a loved one. Lilies are $8.00 a piece. Deadline to order is March 28.
4. Live Last Supper– We need participants and helpers for this event. We will re-enact the Last Super on the front porch of our church on April 1 & 2. Please consider helping with this event. Rehearsals will be March 21, 28, after worship and March 31 at 6:30 pm.
5. Easter Egg Hunt– We are collecting individually wrapped candy (no nuts please) for our family event on Saturday, April 3 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Invite friends and neighbors to join us for crafts, Egg Hunt, snacks, and play. We are excited to use our new playground space for this event.
