All Saints’ Day
Jason and I would offer our deepest appreciation for your love and encouragement during Pastor appreciation month. Thank you for allowing us to join you on this journey of faith-growing in our vision, service to community, and closer to our Lord and Savior. We are overwhelmed by your gifts, cards, and words of encouragement. We are grateful for each one of you and we love Hood Memorial Christian Church. Thank you!
If you missed worship this week, you can catch it here:
ALL SAINTS SUNDAY
Traditionally, we celebrate All Saints Sunday on the Sunday closest to All Saints Day. Saints are those individuals in our lives that help us grow closer to God. This Sunday, October 31st, we will remember all the saints of our congregation that moved on to their heavenly home in the past year. In addition, you will be invited to come forward during the service and light a candle to honor the memory of a saint in your life.
TRUNK OR TREAT THIS SUNDAY
Can you share 30-45 minutes with us after worship on Sunday? We will give you a bag of candy and ask that you stand by the trunk of your car. There will also be Hot Dogs available if you would like one. After the children have changed into their costumes, they will come out and trick or treat at each of the cars. Please consider staying for a few extra minutes to bring joy to our children and community. (You are welcome to decorate your trunk, but it is not mandatory). Candy is provided by the church!
Families…join us for worship on Sunday. After church, you can help your children with their costumes and enjoy a Hot Dog, while we quickly set up outside. We will trunk or treat at 12 noon and then move to the playground for music, games, and more fun. Invite a friend and join us!
