Sermon on the Mount

Amplify Your Day

Recently, our Prayer & Inspiration Group that meets on Wednesdays finished walking through the book of Psalms–a journey that took 3-4 years of persistence and endurance. Now, we welcome you to join us as we take time to study the Sermon on the Mount. We will use many different resources as we consider Jesus’ longest sermon.

Join us in person or on free conference call on Wednesday at 12 noon as we journey through these passages together. This week we will look at the Beatitudes.

We encourage you to watch the videos on Amplify Media by Amy Jill Levine, professor at Vanderbilt on the Sermon on the Mount. If you are able to attend our Bible Study, watch this first video in preparation of our discussion on Wednesday and come with your questions. If you are not able to attend, we still encourage you to enjoy this video and dig deeper into the words of Christ in the Beatitudes.
