Thanksgiving Week

For many of us, Thanksgiving will look different this year because of COVID-19. At the heart of Thanksgiving, is the art of giving thanks. What a great time to pause and give thanks to God!

Give thanks to the Lord for he is good. God’s steadfast love endures forever.

Psalm 107:1

Poinsettias for Advent

We will again adorn our sanctuary and share the beauty of the poinsettia with our neighbors for Advent. Poinsettias are $8 each. There are three ways to share a poinsettia this year:

  • Place one in the sanctuary in honor or memory of a loved one (you may pick up your poinsettia from the sanctuary after worship on December 20 or later)
  • Send one to a home bound member of our congregation (please let us know the name of the person you wish to send it to)
  • Purchase one that will be delivered to a local nursing home to share with the residents there

Poinsettia orders are due by Wednesday, November 25th. Contact Lynda Butler or the church office if you are interested. You may also bring your orders, placed in an envelope and marked “Poinsettia”, and place it in the locked mailbox in the ally behind the church.
