Moving into November

I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 3:18-19 NRSV

On November 1st we celebrate All Saints’ Day. We can all be saints! A saint is someone living on earth or in their heavenly home that has devoted their lives to worship and service of God and in doing so encourages and influences others to strengthen their relationship with God. Take time to reflect on the saints in your life. Who has encouraged you. How can you be a saint? Who do you encourage? Who needs encouraging? How do you help strengthen their relationship with God?

Veterans Day Concert

Join us this Sunday, November 7th at 4:00 pm for our Annual Veterans Day concert to honor the Veterans in our community. Our program includes music from Midway HS band members, soloists, New York Rhythm and Dance Academy, greetings from local elected officials, and guest speakers. Invite a neighbor and make plans to join us for this great afternoon. This concert will be held outdoors in our gazebo area: bring a lawn chair or you make drive in and tune in with your car radio.
