God’s Grace is Sufficient

but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

2 Corinthians 12:9

On Sunday, Rev. Dr. Terrie Hampton Jones reminded us to ask God anyway. Regardless of our weaknesses, our business, or our sins, we can turn to God. We can ask God. Our God forgives. Our God heals. Our God brings peace. If you missed Sunday’s worship, you can click on the link below:

Vacation Bible School is Coming to Sunday School in August!

Our children don’t want to miss Sunday School in August!! We will have a Vacation Bible School style learning time for them. This year’s theme is “Food Truck Party”. The children will learn stories in the Bible about food and feeding others and will learn some of the ways Jesus taught us to care for others! Each Sunday they will engage in songs, dance, Bible Stories, learn Bible verses, crafts, games, and other activities. They will meet each Sunday in the Fellowship Hall at 10:15 am. On Sunday, August 28th, we will celebrate with a Pool party–look for more details.
