There are only a few days left in 2022 to make a difference through a contribution to your church! Every gift you give to Hood Memorial Christian Church goes to support the ministry and mission to which God has called us:

You can make your year-end contribution online at www.hoodmemorial.org/give. You can also drop off a gift (cash or check) to the church mailbox (behind the church in the entry driveway off 301) or by sending mail to Hood Memorial Christian Church, 300 E Cumberland St., Dunn, NC 28334. Be sure to date any check or mail on or before Dec 31 to ensure your donation is counted for 2022.

• Pastors to listen to and support the needs within our community and among our church members,
• Safe and welcoming facilities to host ministries such as NA, Al-Anon, Ladles of Love, Prayer and Bible Study Groups, and Community Events,
• Resources to help persons in need,
• Worship services filled with music, prayers, and messages that connect people to God and one another,
• Funds to support local, state, and national ministries,
• and much more!

Each week is worship, we strive to emphasize the importance of your gifts of Prayers, Presence, and Service. And we mean it! Now, at the end of the year, we also want to highlight the importance of your financial contributions to ensure that our family of faith remains an vital and integral part of the community of faith in Dunn. New Year’s Day Worship Brunch

This Sunday is New Year’s Day! Worship will be held at 10:30am in the Fellowship Hall with a New Years’s Brunch included! Coffee, communion, fruit, donuts, and casseroles will be provided. Though not required, you are welcome to bring a brunch dish to share (contact Pastor Joanie 919-632-0969 to coordinate).

Also, after worship you are invited to the Lashmit’s Lakehouse at 1:30pm for their annual New Year’s Day Party. Lakehouse Address will be available during worship. Please RSVP to Maere Kay Lashmit.
