Paul’s Journey

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually resulted in the progress of the gospel, so that it has become known throughout the whole imperial guard and to everyone else that my imprisonment is for Christ, and most of the brothers and sisters, having been made confident in the Lord by my imprisonment, dare to speak the word with greater boldness and without fear.

Phillipians 1:12-14

On Sunday, Pastor Ryan shared about his travels to Greece. He showed us a picture of one of the sites where Paul was in prison. We were challenged to consider how Paul’s writings were inspired by his time in prison and his struggles. In a time when Paul was confined, he was inspired to share the gospel and love of Jesus Christ for the good of many generations to come. We are still inspired, guided, and encouraged by Paul’s thoughts that he was able to share in the form of letters to the early church. What will your legacy be?
