Father Abraham
The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.
Genesis 18:1-2
Abraham is considered a father of our faith. We sing “Father Abraham had many sons”. On Sunday, Pastor Jason showed us how Abraham was a great example of being a father. Abraham knew the importance of seeing God in the stranger. We are called to look for God in all of God’s children. Pray for our campers going to Camp Caroline on Sunday. We have two young people who will spend the week at camp. We pray this time will lead them closer to God.
